Will The Antichrist Be A Homosexual? (Dan 11:37)

Many prophecy teachers on social media have come up with wild suppositions concerning the beast from the sea out of Revelation 13:1, the Antichrist.

Whenever a US President comes into office prophecy sensationalist on YouTube immediately peg that President as the Antichrist. It happens with every US President.

Wild irresponsible suppositions have been made about the Antichrist, from him being a Muslim, a US President, a woman, or, we can know who he is if we break the so called, " Bible codes".

Some have said on the internet that very little is known about the Antichrist in Scripture, but that simply is not true. The Bible has much to say about this man.

This Satanic individual will one day be energized by Satan to become the beast, the world ruler coming from the revived Roman Empire in Revelation 13:1.

He goes by 27 different names in the Bible, the little horn, (Dan 7:8), the prince that shall come, (Dan 9:26), the beast, (Rev 13:1), son of perdition, (2 Thess 2:3).

Man of sin (lawlessness) , (2 Thess 2:8), the wicked one, (2 Thess 2:8). We better know his title in the Scripture as the coming Antichrist, or the Anti-Messiah.

We see four main passages that use this title to describe him, 1 John 2:18; 22, 4:3, 2 John 1:7. He will oppose the Messiah of Israel, the Son of God and seek to make war with him, (Rev 17:14).

Many label the Antichrist as the “false Messiah”, but that cannot be accurate because, number 1, the Antichrist opposes the Messiah, and the Jews will never accept a Gentile as Messiah.

The Antichrist, the beast is the Gentile world ruler who comes from the sea, symbolic of the Gentile nations of the world in Revelation 13:1.  The False Prophet, probably a Jew, will promote global worship of the Gentile world ruler, (Rev13:11).

Another popular speculation concerning the Antichrist is he will be a homosexual, an effeminate man. And the verse they use in trying to prove this is Daniel 11:37.

First of all Daniel 11:37 shows that the Antichrist has disregard for religion, marriage, or natural affection. Nothing matters to him other than Israel’s destruction.

The goal of the Antichrist is to glorify Satan who energized him, bring the world to worship him and to take the mark of his name in the right hand or forehead, (Rev 13:16-18).

He desires to bring as many souls to hell as possible. That is his goal in relation to Israel’s destruction. With no desire for woman shows he chooses to remain celibate.

The homosexual theory is a minority interpretation popularized by modern day prophecy teachers. It is not the most common or widely held view among prophecy teachers today.

Most commentators view it as a rejection of all religions, relationships, and ultimately, the rejection of Jesus and His Messiahship. He seeks to dethrone the Lord.

He claims to be God in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 and rejects Jesus as God Himself. He is infused with all evil and wickedness to destroy the holy people of God, the Jews and tribulation saints.

Jesus had no desire for woman because He is God in the flesh. Men have blasphemously accused Him of such a wicked homosexual lifestyle because He had no relationships either. He is divine so he had no desire for it.

Jesus’ goal was to do the will of the Father and to be the propitiation for the sins of all humanity, (1 John 2:2). Antichrist goal is to do the will of Satan and destroy humanity.

Jesus came to save lives; Antichrist is coming to destroy lives. Jesus died for humanity; Antichrist comes to destroy humanity. Nothing else matters to him, no religion or relationships, (John 8:44; 10:10).

In conclusion there is no direct evidence of Antichrist being a Sodomite and  Daniel 11:37 I believe proves otherwise. I believe it shows the total opposite of him being a sodomite. The literal Hebrew translation of Daniel 11:37 would read, "He will not reguard the gods his fathers regarded, or the god desired by woman". In other words, the Antichrist is one whom woman desire. If the Antichrist would be a sodomite I believe Daniel would have said something to that effect. Like for example, "he will not reguard the gods of his fathers regarded, but would lie down with men". We do not see that type of language in Daniel 11:37. He will be so popular in his rise to global power, that he would be one that woman desire. The homosexual interpretation of Daniel 11:37 is not plausible.

The stage is being set for the Antichrist to come on the world scene with humanity spiraling out of control and the nations in rebellion against God. The Rapture is close at hand!
