On July 31 Ismail Haniyeh, the leader of Hamas was assassinated at his lodging while in Iran. He was taken out under the nose of the Iranian regime. He believed he was under full protection from Iran and was eliminated on their own soil. They are not sure how he was killed but some believed an exsplosive device was planted in his room earlier and detonated from a distance. Others say a missile was fired from a drone that took out the terrorist leader. His bodygaurd was killed in the strike as well. Iran believes Israel was behind the assassination and has pledged revenge against the Jewish state. The US warned Iran and their proxies that it will defend Israel against any attack.
Israel took out Hezbollah senior leader Fuad Shukr in Lebanon. He was  second in command to Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah. Russia, Turkey, Iran, and China all condemned the assassination of Haniyeh and Shukr. Yet, these are major players in the end time scenario laid out in Bible prophecy. Ezekiel 38 records Russia, (Gog), along with Mechech, Tubal, Gomer, and Togarmah, (Turkey), and Persia, who in 1935 changed their name to Iran, will attack Israel. We read in Revelation 9:15 and 16:12 a two-hundred million man army will cross the Euphrates and come into the Middle East, bringing death to a third of humanity, (China). In terms of proxies of Iran we see Hamas in the Gaza, and Hezbollah in south Lebanon.
We read in Psalm 83 Israel comes under attack from Arabs states that share a common border with the Jewish State. We see in Psalm 83:7 Gebal, (Lebanon), and Tyre, (south Lebanon). This is where Hezbollah is located. The same verse mentions Amalek who was the grandson of Esau, the father of the Edomites, (Gen 38:1; 8-9; 12). From Esau, and Amalek we can trace their lineage to the people today called the Palestinians. They are in Gaza under the brutal rule of Hamas Palestinian terrorist. The Bible is on target in terms of these people today foretold in Bible prophecy. With war of words escalating in the Middle East this indicates the Rapture must be so close at hand.
