Romans 8:17-23
Since the fall of man in Genesis 3 creation itself has mourned over the last 5786 years as earth and humanity live under the conditions of the Adamic Covenant.
According to the Jewish Lunar Calendar the Rabbis tell us that creation is five thousand seven hundred and eighty-six years old from Genesis 1 to the present.
Creation has lived under two different types of “ocracy” in the past and present. Ocracy in the Greek means, "rule or government, power, might; rule, sway; power over; a power, authority.
Between Genesis chapters 1-2 creation lived under a Theocracy. In the Bible, a Theocracy is the idea of a government ruled directly by God, which was the system in ancient Israel before the divided monarchy.
Before the fall creation was paradise in a state of perfection without sin and peaceful harmony. God ruled over His perfect creation with Adam and Eve as the beneficiaries.
When we get to Genesis 3 we see disobedience come into play and paradise lost due to Adam and Eve’s failure to obey God as they ate the forbidden fruit.
Theocracy has been set aside and now creation lives under a Satanocracy, (2 Cor 4:4). It is seen as the antithesis of a Theocracy in which it is opposes the sovereign rule of God.
We have been under a Satanocracy since Genesis 3 and will continue up until the second coming of Jesus the Messiah back to earth in Revelation 19:11-16, when a Theocracy is once again restored.
People have wondered why did God allow Adam and Eve to eat of the forbidden fruit? Why did He not stop them in order to avoid falling into the sinful state we are in now?
It was a test of humanity's free will and obedience. It was allowed to fulfill a greater purpose, allowing for humanity's redemption through the seed of the woman, (Gen 3:15).
God put the tree of knowledge of good and evil in the Garden of Eden to give Adam and Eve a choice to obey Him or disobey Him. Adam and Eve were free to do anything they wanted, except eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
If God had not given Adam and Eve the choice, they would have essentially been robots, simply doing what they were programmed to do. God created Adam and Eve to be free beings, able to make decisions, able to choose between good and evil. In order for Adam and Eve to truly be free, they had to have a choice.
Have you ever wondered what the forbidden fruit was? The Bible does not tell us exactly, but I believe we have a clue. The moment they ate the forbidden fruit they sinned and knew they were naked.
What tree were they near? A fig tree, because they sowed fig leaves to cover their nakedness in Genesis 3:7. Is it possible that the forbidden fruit was the fig? I am not being dogmatic, just throwing out a possiblity.
What tree did Jesus’ curse in the new Testament? Jesus in a negative sense speaking of fallen men said in Matthew 7:16 , Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns or figs of thistles?
In Mark 11:13-14; 21, Jesus cursed the fig tree, and it withered away. So, is it possible that the forbidden fruit is the fig? Again, I can’t be dogmatic but just throwing that out there.
The Jewish News Syndicate reported, Redemption war: Israeli Government approves new name for fighting sparked by October 7 attacks. This is the war of our revival said PM Benjamin Netanyahu.
The name change from “Iron Swords” to “War of Redemption.”. “This is the war of our revival—a direct continuation of the War of Independence.
The Hebrew word, Tkumah, meaning, rebirth, resurrection. The Prime Minister’s Office formally translating it as “redemption. The redemption of Israel.
According to Bible prophecy there was a ‘rebirth, the rebirth of the state of Israel on May 14, 1948, after 1,878 years, the state of Israel is reborn. Fulfilling Ezekiel 37.
From 70 A.D. to 1948 is 1,878 years it took for the biblical homeland of Israel’s rebirth. Then, in 1967 during the six-day war the Jews took Jerusalem and unified the holy city.
From 70 A.D. to 1967 it took the Jews 1,897 years for the Jewish people to unify the holy city of Jerusalem and establish it as the eternal capitol of Israel, since king David conquered Jerusalem from the Jebusites and made it his political capitol, (2 Sam 5).
In terms of the redemption, we see at Jesus second coming back to earth that all Israel shall be saved, (Zech 12:10; Matt 24:30; Rom 11:26; Rev 1:7).
In terms of Regeneration, we see a promise Jesus made to the Jewish disciples in Matthew 19:28, KJV
“And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”
The word, ‘regeneration’ is the Greek, paliggenesia, refers to the renewed world of the future, the Kingdom of righteousness yet to come. While the term is used for individual rebirth, it looks forward to, Genesis again, the future Millennial Kingdom.
The apostles will sit on 12 thrones literally judging the twelve tribes of the children of Israel. Jesus promise to the disciples will be fulfilled in Revelation 21:12.
Just as creation right now mourns over its fallen condition it will one day be regenerated in the Kingdom and the Eternal State when Jesus reigns as King.
Until then, let us proclaim to the world that man can experience the new birth, be redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, and be regenerated by the Holy Spirit, (Titus 3:5). The Rapture is close at hand!
